This blog is where you will find information about my work, things that interest me, and things I think you might interest you . . . it's a way to get to know me and my work! I welcome feedback so feel free to get in touch if you have any comments or questions - or to enquire about any work you see on my website.

ARTBOURNE exhibition at Wellesley College, Days Bay, Lower Hutt

I’m excited, and a little nervous, about showing a few of my paintings in the ARTBOURNE exhibition in a couple of weeks time alongside some really well-known artists. Prices range from $100 to $20,000. . . . and I’m really chuffed that part of one of my paintings has been used in the publicity:

ARTBOURNE is a biennial exhibition of renowned and emerging artists works at Wellesley College. Sales help to fund their scholarship campaign Promising Futures for Boys (selling artists donate a portion from the sale of their artwork to the Foundation). The scholarship supports boys who would otherwise be unable to experience Wellesley.

Wellesley is not shy in promoting the arts in all its forms. This exhibition is a platform for creative curiosity as well as a celebration of the broad church of artistic expression. ARTBOURNE wants you to connect with the art, and come away not only enriched and intrigued, but also with a work you love.

Over 80 artists will be exhibited - not only painters, but potters, sculptors, mixed media artists, photographers and printmakers and a collective of artisanal jewellers. A curated selection of current students’ art will also be for sale.

Tickets for opening night (1st November, 7pm) are available now through www.artbourne.org.nz - cost $25.00

The exhibition is open free of charge from November 2nd - 4th, hours 11am - 4pm each day. Wellesley College, 611A Marine Dr, Days Bay, Lower Hutt

Join a curated complimentary tour on Friday 2nd or during the weekend.

There will be a cafe onsite, and a shop selling art prints, cards, and books.
